LINIEX

TIME RELEASE TECHNOLOGY

Liniex Time Release is patented, cost effective, and easy to produce with any active ingredient.

Liniex Time Release profile is achieved in two parts. The first is when food grade/GRAS Certified ingredients responsible for slowing the digestion of the tablet are blended with active ingredients. The second part is the pressure in which the tablet is produced. Adjusting the quantity of digestion slowing ingredients and manipulation of tablet pressure allow us to fine tune initial burst, release rates and release times. This technology is not only exacting in its release times and rates but extremely cost effective in its production and easily replicated every production batch.

RATE OF PASSAGE ASSUMPTIONS

Rate of passage or the term in which an ingredient takes to travel through the digestive tract, can vary between patients. For demonstration purposes the charts contained within this website assume total digestive time from ingestion to elimination is 24-Hours.

UNDERSTANDING LINIEX TIME RELEASE

Simple, elegant and offers a consistently repeatable release profile every production batch.

Liniex Time Release differs from Controlled or Target Release by its ability to release a small burst of ingredients upon ingestion. This burst can deliver ingredients in greater quantities in the first hours than in the resulting time released hours. This could be of greater benefit than controlled release for pain medications or therapies that need loading amounts of ingredients. This burst amount is accompanied by consistent releasing amounts for delivery over specific periods of time, generally 4, 8, 12 or 24 hours.

LINIEX TIME RELEASE IN MONO LAYER TABLET

Chart shown is for demonstration purposes and shows ingredients released with Liniex Time Release over a 24 Hour period. This chart shows release rate with standard/mono layer tablet with a release rate of 24 hoursThis technology can be adjusted to release its complete contents in as little as little as 4 hours up to a maximum of 24 hours.

LINIEX TIME RELEASE FORMULATION FLEXIBILITY

Combining multiple Liniex Technologies for greater release control.

Formulating options with other Liniex Technologies and multi layer tableting options allow for greater flexibility in release control. Combining technologies in layered tablets allow for separate drug release profiles that can contribute to better efficacy and increased safety. This also can allow for two different drugs or two different formulations combined in one tablet. Liniex Technologies has experience in identifying options specific to your drug release profile to guide you in using our multiple options.
