LINIEX

CONTROLLED RELEASE

The ultimate control over how much drug is released every hour.

Liniex Controlled Release profile is achieved in similar fashion to Liniex Time Release in that it is a combination of two production phases. The first is when food grade/GRAS Certified ingredients, responsible for slowing the digestion of the tablet, are blended with the active ingredient. The second part is the pressure in which the tablet is produced. There is no burst associated with Liniex Controlled Release compared to the slight burst with Liniex Time Release. Adjusting the quantity of digestion slowing ingredients and manipulating tablet pressure allow us to fine tune rate of release and release time. This technology is not only exacting in its release but extremely cost effective in its production and easily replicated every production batch. Total release time for this technology can be adjusted to deliver all ingredients in as little as 4 hours and as long as 24 hours.

RATE OF PASSAGE ASSUMPTIONS

Rate of passage or the term in which an ingredient takes to travel through the digestive tract, can vary between patients. For demonstration purposes the charts contained within this website assume total digestive time from ingestion to elimination is 24-Hours.

UNDERSTANDING LINIEX CONTROLLED RELEASE

Consistently releasing ingredients every hour.

Liniex Controlled Release differs from Liniex Time Release by elimination of the initial burst upon ingestion. Liniex Controlled Release delivers ingredients in consistant amounts every hour including initial hour. This consistent release of ingredients can be beneficial by supplying the body with a slow consistent release of ingredients over a specific digestive period. This “control” allows for specific measures of ingredient supply to the body to increase efficacy or reduce side effects. Controlled Release may be a better option Liniex Time Release for patients that require of constant supply of a drug without a loading amount of an ingredient. Liniex Controlled Release can deliver ingredients over specific periods of time, generally 4, 8, 12 or 24 hours.
